Plant Mitosis Sequencing Family/Home Kit for 4 Groups

Grades 5-12.

Get students to move beyond memorizing mitosis phases to actually understanding the process of mitosis. Two sets of unique cell images allow students to gain understanding of mitosis with the first set and demonstrate mastery with the second set. Students will examine multiple aspects of mitosis, including how mitosis occurs, as well as an understanding of cell division in general. The kit will help them notice spindle formation, nuclear envelope loss and return, cytokinesis, and DNA condensation and decondensation. Comes in a handy box and includes an instructor booklet containing student handouts.
