Challenges student’s sense of touch on both hands and feet. Develops the ability to describe sense impressions verbally. Made of nice-to-the-touch rubber, each of the five tactile structures, in their own color, can be found on a large disc (each approx. 10-1/2 in. dia.) for positioning on the floor, as well as on a small disc (each approx. 4-1/2 in. dia.) that the student will be able to hold in their hands. The discs offer innumerable possibilities, ranging from a fundamental sensing of the tactile structures, to games based on memory and recognition. The games can be adjusted so they fit the student’s age and level of functionality.
