An art tool designed to sharpen the visual perception of users when they are engaged in drawing or painting activities. Consists of a unique patented frame - constructed of birch wood - assembly fitted with a number of elastic cords (grid strings) that are stretched across the frame opening. The grid strings are movable and may be arranged so as to stretch across the frame opening in a number of configurations. For teachers, the DüRERGRiD can serve as an instructional tool that helps students learn to draw more effectively and better understand basic drawing concepts that are difficult to grasp when using other methods of drawing instruction.
