This kit includes lesson-specific materials for 12 students to complete the following two lessons.
Origami DNA
In this lesson, students will learn about DNA and create a 3D DNA sculpture using the paper-folding art of origami.
Roman Rotating Platform
Students will learn about the elaborate rotating statues that decorated ships in ancient Rome, explore how friction affects the movement of objects, and create their own rotating statue.
Warning: All projects require adult supervision and should be adapted to conform with local school rules and safety guidelines.
Note: Instructional videos sold separately. General classroom supplies, such as paper, glue sticks, pencils, and markers, are not included.
