Blue Dye Refill - 15 ml

Blue dye is designed to be used in conjunction with the Nasco TTD Light Microscope (SB52858). Add the dye to a sample, then use the microscope to shine a red light on it at a wavelength that is strongly absorbed by the dye. Live cells exclude the dye and generate contrast in transmission-through-dye (TTD) images, with thicker cells appearing brighter. Broken cells and debris do not exclude the dye and remain dark, so it is easier to differentiate between living and dead matter.
