Grades K-5.

Pixel Fun game is based on the principles of binary code and introduces students to pixel art drawing. The binary code assigns a pattern of binary digits to each character. Each number in the squares of the task cards stands for a number of pixels. Once those pixels are laid on the playing board, a funny pixel image will appear. More advanced players can create their own pixel art figure, then write down the code and give it to a friend to see if the friend can recreate the pixel image using the code. The combination of art and binary code principles makes this screenless game perfect for use in early STEAM curriculum. Includes 4 base cards for pixel art (2 cards with 36 squares and 2 cards with 25 squares), 120 colored pixels, 8 pixels with eyes, 8 task cards, 2 control cards, and instructions.
