Choose an income, a community, and then, ready or not, life happens. Students will try to make it on their own in any of 12 communities from coast to coast and they’re in complete control of their finances. Practice the financial skills needed to be independent, learn to live on a budget, and make real-life decisions living week to week for 1 year. Features an optional consumer math challenge with 3 levels of difficulty and problems unique to each student’s decisions. The consumer vocabulary challenge will test students on their understanding of personal finance terminology. Includes in-depth teacher’s guide aligned with the Common Core State Standards, pre-simulation questionnaire, post-simulation assessment, and print activities. Copyright 2017.
