The tray is molded of heavy-gauge, high-density polyethylene for strength and rigidity. The unbreakable, lightweight tray is chemical-resistant and features a skid-resistant bottom. The 16 in. x 30 in. trays are easily stacked for storage. A cover is available (not included, SB09913) to protect the specimen during lab practicals or between dissection periods. Nasco suggests the use of NASCO-Guard® Humectant Fluid (SB17218) to moisten specimens between dissections.
