Using the engineering design process as a guide, students research concepts related to genetics and Punnett squares to brainstorm and build clay models of a zaboo. Students will discover concepts about genetics, heredity, chromosomes, DNA, genotypes, phenotypes, inheritance, mutations, codons, ratio, and percentage. This kit contains enough materials for 10 groups. Access to curricula materials can be found at http://www.cyber.org.
