Matatalab Lite is an adorable and easy-to-use coding robot ready to take young students ages 3 and up on an exciting STEM/STEAM coding adventure. Screenless, words-free coding robot consists of a responsive robotic car and a wireless controller that lets users toggle between 3 modes: (i) control mode, (ii) coding mode, and (iii) sensor mode.
- Control Mode - Lets students easily control the robot's movements. Pressing the buttons on the controller freely, they'll soon discover that the movement of the robotic car corresponds to the symbols of the buttons.
- Coding Mode - Press a series of commands on the controller, then press the Play button. The robotic car will execute the commands accordingly. Enables students to easily learn basic coding concepts. By setting a series of programming commands, the robot can automatically complete a challenge.
- Sensor Mode - Allows the robotic car to judge obstacles, detect surroundings, react to light, and even be controlled by certain colors. When combined with different story backgrounds, more fun and advanced plays will be unlocked.
Matatalab Lite helps develop problem-solving skills, critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration through hands-on coding game plays. Students will discover the fun of basic coding concepts such as sequencing, conditionals, and debugging while constantly being challenged with advanced tasks. Includes controller, robot with figure inside, USB-C cable, map, user guide, picture book, marker, and paper accessories.
