Get students coding and creating unique projects while utilizing the Matatalab Screenless Robot Coding Set (EL16832) with Artist Add-on (EL16830). Curriculum enables your STEM/STEAM classroom to combine coding and art in a meaningful, engaging way. The curriculum utilizes Matatalab, a block-based, tangible programming tool that allows students to move a robot through an environment by way of a Bluetooth®-enabled command tower and board. Encourages students to draw beautiful graphics and pictures through programming. As students progress towards the more advanced stages of coding, their mathematical theories of geometry also improve. Includes 20 angle blocks, 3 washable color pens, and 3 artist warm-up cards (6 samples). The curriculum guide provides an overview, the aligned standards covered, and 12 lessons. Each 60-minute lesson provides an overview, objectives, materials required, vocabulary list, step-by-step instructions, an activity, reproducible worksheets, a closing assessment, extensions, and real-world connections. Lessons incorporate various types of materials and media while using coding, number, and angle blocks. Aligned to National Core Arts Standards (NCAS) and Computer Science Teachers Association (CSTA).
