Widely used for simultaneous stirring and heating of liquid. Totally enclosed, 7 in. x 7 in. cast aluminum heating surface resists chemical spills. Stirring speed and temperature are regulated from the front panel with separate dials. Indicator lights tell at a glance if either control is active. Comes with 1 in. octagon stir bar with molded-on pivot ring in the center, detachable 1-ft. support bar with a clamp for thermometer or pH probe, and a detachable power cord measuring 5-1/2 ft. long. Stirring capacity is up to 500 ml with a strong vortex. 220V, 180 watts. Temperature max 250° C or 480°F, RPM 120-1600. Includes Teacher’s Guide.
