This kit makes the study of life science concepts such as germination and seed development easy, fun, and interactive. The items in this kit are ideally suited for classroom use. Comes with all the basics you need to start growing seeds. Includes 1-oz. pkg. of field corn seeds, pkg. of rye grass seeds, 1-oz. pkg. of lima bean seeds, 440 mg pkg. of dwarf marigold seeds, 1-oz. pkg. of green arrow pea seeds, 3.5 g pkg. of radish seeds, 1 oz. of grey strip sunflower seeds, 4-oz. pkg. of blue lake green bean seeds, pack of 50 Jiffy® peat pots (2-1/4 in.) to start seeds, 50 plant tags (4 in. W x 5/8 in. H) to help students identify, study, and remember the plants they are growing, 16 qts. of Jiffy-Mix® seed starting soil, and osmocote plant food. Jiffy® Peat Pots are molded from a special mix of 60% Canadian sphagnum peat moss and 40% recycled paper pulp to which soluble fertilizers have been added. Plant the whole pot. Roots grow through the pot. Jiffy-Mix® seed starting soil is sterile, scientifically blended, and lightly fertilized.
