Giant Water Pump

Giant water pump features a cog system powered by a turning handle to transport water up a narrow tube and out through the spout. A fun, tactile way to aid the development of motor and problem-solving skills, language, and the understanding of STEAM concepts such as how pumps work and the uses of a pump. Sturdy, powder-coated steel frame prevents rust. Suction feet keep frame stable during use. Hand-operated brake makes it easy to stop the flow of water at any time. The water collects from and can be poured back into the same tray, keeping water contained and enabling use indoors or outside.

Includes 3 orange plastic cogs (1 with handle), orange plastic outlet pipe, clear plastic tubing, water drive cord, 4 suction feet, and powder-coated, tubular steel frame. Also includes a custom-fitted plastic cover with hook-and-loop ties to keep the cover securely attached to the water pump. The 2 holes in the cover enable the water outlet pipe and handle to protrude. All edges contain edge trimming to prevent the plastic from tearing. The clear plastic enables easy viewing of the water pump while keeping students safe from the moving cogs.
