The F.U.N.™ (Fluency and Understanding Numbers) Empty Number Line is also known as an open number line and is a visual representation for sharing students’ thinking strategies and developing number sense. Demonstrates that the magnitude of the numbers increases as a student is counting up and decreases when counting down. Additionally, decomposing numbers into pairs can be displayed, and comparing one digit or two digit numbers can be modeled. The numberline can be used to quickly identify 10 more or 10 less, as well as many other concepts. Each number line includes 2 double-sided sections with a blank line on one side and a line with tick marks on the opposite side. Place cards anywhere on the number line with the included binder clips. Blue links attach to the cards at both the top and bottom to show equivalency. Each set of cards and activity guide are grade level specific to the Common Core Standards. Includes 2 - 6 in. x 40 in. double-sided write-on/wipe-off number line sections, 6 magnetic hooks for attaching to whiteboard, 26 binder clips, 150 blue links, cards, and activity guide.
