Eco-Wood-Art Kinetic Globe Construction Kit

Grades 8 and up.

Take time to assemble and customize an Eco-Wood-Art model using this kit. Once assembled in class, students will have a model version of a kinetic globe that consists of inner and outer rotating spheres. The wind-up rubber band engine will make the spheres move around the axis in opposite directions. A great technical project for any engineering or STEM/STEAM lesson.

The eco-friendly sustainable material is made of FSC certified, laser-cut plywood with amazing details. The plywood can be painted with thin water-based paints. Self-assembly is required. There's no need for glue or batteries. Kit includes wood material, candle wax for gears, sand paper, rubber bands, and step-by-step assembly instructions inside of an all-inclusive box.
