E-Blox® Building Brick Sets - Story Blox™ The City Classroom Set

Grades 3-8.

Blox are not your ordinary building bricks. Sure you can use them like you would any building brick, but the built-in technology helps you create electrical circuits with no wires to worry about! Using either tin-plated blocks or copper pins and sockets, the bricks connect to a battery pack allowing budding engineers to bring creations to life with lights, sounds, or spinning.

How do they work?

Builders will arrange the blocks in the proper sequence from positive terminal to negative terminal and attaching them to the battery powered base to make it all work.

Are they safe

The very low-flow current presents no risk of electrical shock. In addition, the battery block actually sounds an alarm if a short circuit is detected, preventing overheating.

Story Blox™ The City Classroom Set

In a true STEAM experience, The City Set combines building bricks, storybooks and instruction manuals. The City refers to a chapter in the E-Blox novelette, Earth One, in which Seymour E. Blox travels in an organic submarine. Builders will help Seymour make emergency repairs in the middle of the night, face industrial pollution, investigate city hall, visit a famous clock tower, and more.
