Discovery Kit for BBC micro:bit

Grades 6–8 Get students started with coding and electronics. This kit contains five experiments and everything needed to complete them. Each one has a complete code walk-through, a circuit diagram and a top-down breadboard view, full explanations, and descriptions of how the electronics work. The experiments start simply and gradually advance as the student's programming confidence grows.

The kit includes:

• 1 breadboard breakout for the BBC micro:bit

• 2 yellow 10 mm LED lights

The included step-by-step booklet has detailed information that students need to know and apply as they go. It covers everything from using a prototyping board to how to use the Microsoft MakeCode Editor. The BBC micro:bit (SB53386) is not included. A USB noodle cable is required.
