6-Slot/Slotted Out Carbide Flat Disc

A disc with six carbide inserts that are actually screwed right into the disc. This disc will trim about 100-150 animals before the inserts need to be resharpened or replaced. The inserts are also rectangular, so when one side becomes dull, you simply unscrew the inserts and turn them 180° in the disc. Each set of inserts may be resharpened 5-6 times before needing replacement. An ideal disc for large herds and professional trimmers. Comes with six interchangeable inserts. Each insert has two sharpened edges that can be rotated when one side becomes dull. Slots remain open all the way to outside of disc, allowing shavings to clear out of disc more easily. Includes screws, 3/32 T-handle allen wrench. 4-1/2 in. diameter, fits 7/8 in. arbor.
