Made of long 100% cotton fibers on a cylinder mold, the natural-colored paper has a harmonious natural grain. The evenly distributed fibers make the paper more stable, with very limited deformation, and also absorb a lot of water without warping or color bleeding. Sized to the core with natural gelatin, the paper can be scratched without tearing or linting. The paper also preserves the luster and transparency of the colors while preventing paints from penetrating into the thickness of the paper. Ideal for watercolor painting as well as wet techniques such as ink, gouache, and acrylic. Acid-free paper has an alkaline reserve but no optical brightening agents. A fungicidal treatment has been applied to prevent the appearance of mold.
