A Smart-Fab®: Installation - Lesson Plan Volume 68

Students will…
- Learn about artist Andy Warhol, his Rorschach paintings, and the Rorschach inkblots that were his inspiration.
- Create a symmetrical print in the style of Warhol's Rorschach paintings using acrylics and a new medium (Smart-Fab®).
- Take their print a step further by putting it in a glue bath and sculpting it three-dimensionally over tubes.
- Create other pieces of artwork that will be added to the final installation.
- Understand what an installation is and what the word abstract means.
