3B Scientific Human Skull with Facial Muscles

Grades 6–12 Display the human skull with facial muscles for students to examine in the classroom. Use the model to demonstrate facial anatomy concepts as well as causes of temporomandibular disorders and other dysfunctional disturbances of masticatory muscles.

This model of the face musculature features a face and mastication muscles illustrated on the right half of the skull. The face musculature can easily and precisely be differentiated from the mastication musculature by the use of two colors. On the left half, the muscle origins and insertions are marked with colors as well. The model's jaw is movable so rudimentary chewing motion can be demonstrated. The cranium and masseter muscle are detachable.
