3B Scientific Hemorrhage Control Arm Trainer

Grades 9–12 Train students in hemorrhage control on an upper extremity with realistic wound and bleeding simulation. With this arm trainer, students can get hands-on training of hemorrhage control with wound packing and tourniquet application. The trainer simulates a full adult male arm with skin that's made of sturdy silicone material.

Affordable trainer provides realistic simulation of traumatic injuries on the arm. The arm is equipped with three different wound patterns for students to gain confidence when practicing bleed control and injury management: deep laceration or stab wound, large caliber gunshot wound, and junctional wound in the shoulder area.

Each wound can be hidden with a dedicated cover to offer modular injury scenarios. For added realism, each wound bleeds independently using the manual blood pump system. The system is a secure blood reservoir with a manual blood pump system that simulates venous and arterial pulsatile blood hemorrhage. The bleeding stops when tourniquet has been correctly applied. Contains 250 ml of artificial blood concentrate to prepare the blood for the reservoir.

The trainer functions as a stand-alone simulator and it can be worn by the instructor or volunteer to add realism to the training. No batteries or external power required. Easy to clean and transport. Includes three wound covers, a carrying bag, a wearable belt, a manual blood pump, a blood reservoir, and blood concentrate. The trainer weighs approximately 14 lbs.
