3B Scientific Birthing Simulator P90 Pro
Grades 9–12 Develop students' skills with this birthing simulator. This simulator was developed for skill training in normal deliveries, complicated deliveries, and in obstetric emergencies. Using obstetric simulation, students will learn how to detect abnormal fetal positions and presentations and how to use manual techniques to assist the birthing process.
With the simulator, students will learn when to apply obstetric emergency interventions and they will be able to practice manual maneuvers and see how they affect the fetus in-utero. The training of manual birthing maneuvers is necessary so that correct measures can be applied during complicated deliveries. Some of the delivery skills and techniques students can learn include:
- Normal vaginal delivery
- Normal delivery of umbilical cord and placenta
- Palpitation and assessment of fetal position and presentation
- Diagnosis of all normal and abnormal fetal positions
- Breech deliveries
- Complete and incomplete placenta birth
- Clamping and cutting of umbilical cord
- Various maneuvers
The simulator includes a fully articulated fetus with open mouth, tiltable head, shoulder blade, and anatomical correct fontanelles, as well as a life-size adult female lower torso with anatomically correct landmarks like pelvis, pelvic cavity, and spine. Features a manual birthing system to control rotation and speed of fetus delivery and an anti-slip base and handles for extra support on surfaces.
The simulator also includes detachable and padded stomach cover with advanced insert, fastening belt, inflatable uterus insert, birth canal, lubricant, amniotic fluid, assembly kit, umbilical cord, and placenta. Easy to clean. All parts can quickly be changed without tools. Allow extra delivery time.
