This fully-assembled weather station is designed for easy installation and use by consumers, educators, students, and resource managers. Ideal for applications where ease of installation and use are key factors. Preprogrammed to provide simple meteorological data on air temperature, relative humidity, barometric pressure, rainfall, solar radiation, wind direction, wind speed and ETo (evapotranspiration). An on-board microprocessor measures, gathers, and stores information before transmitting the data via wired communications to a user-supplied nearby PC. Includes meteorological sensors (solar panel, cup anemometer, wind vane, barometric transducer, and tipping bucket rain gauge) attached to a protective casing that houses an on-board microprocessor and rechargeable battery pack. Battery can be recharged via AC power adapter or solar panel. Weather station can be easily attached to a 1-1/4" to 2" O.D. pole or tripod. Shipped directly from factory. Allow extra delivery time.
