Footvax® Sheep Footrot Treatment

A multi-strain ovine footrot bacterin for the prevention and treatment of footrot in sheep. Designed to stimulate a strong immunological response for the protection from new infection and treatment of infection already present. Protects against 10 strains of Bacteroides nodosus. Dosage and administration: Following the first dose, a second inoculation should be administered not sooner than six weeks and not later than six months following the initial dose. Booster vaccination: Following the original two-dose course of treatment, booster inoculations should be given bi-annually or just prior to an anticipated outbreak. Aseptically administer 1 ml under the skin in the anterior half of the neck. 50 ml vial provides 50 doses. Shipped directly from Wisconsin factory. Allow extra delivery time.
