This research-based curriculum was created specifically to teach students with developmental disabilities, autism, and significant learning disabilities to read. Teaches 140 sight words and “real world” words through a comprehensive system of repetition, hands-on practice, controlled-vocabulary reading, and high interest activities. Nonreaders become successful readers word-by-word, reading 28 engaging, full-color books along the way. Level one is designed as a one-on-one program that takes at least one full school year to complete.
