Designed to meet laboratory needs for school projects and research. Well-crafted and versatile. Used for drying, baking, sterilizing, evaporating, heat treating, annealing, and testing. Gray painted exterior has a hard, scratch-resistant hammer finish. Doors open with high-impact thermoplastic handles. Cabinet has heavy steel double-wall construction. Includes 3 racks, top and middle are adjustable. Work space is insulated from the outer cabinet with 1" of high density mineral wool, and interior is made of corrosive-resistant aluminized steel. The control panel is equipped with an illuminated on-off rocker switch and a heat/cycle pilot light. Temperature is controlled by an automatic hydraulic or bimetal thermostat. Energy efficient, low-watt density, incoloy-sheathed elements are engineered into a compact design for quick run-up and recovery times. Temperature uniformity is greatly improved by a perforated heat shield which absorbs radiant heat and distributes it more evenly. Inside dimensions: 18" x 16" x 12". Outside dimensions: 20" x 25" x 14". Temperature range to 220° C (428° F). Safe non-mercury spirit thermometer is included. Shipped UPS directly from factory. Allow extra delivery time.
