By measuring the electrochemical changes directly from the animal’s reproductive tract, the Ovascan indicates the optimal time to breed, saving the breeder time and money by preventing unnecessary covers or artificial inseminations. Constructed of rugged materials, allowing for heavy field use. Rechargeable batteries allow for full portability. Stainless steel probe allows for easy sanitation between uses. Can also be used to test for mastitis. Just dip the sensor in a little milk and you can easily detect pre-clinical mastitis, allowing you to take the necessary steps before cell counts are out of control.
