Product Description

This durable top-loading floor model has a welded steel exterior finished in heat and rust resistant ebony and silver-gray. High fire refractory backed with high temperature block insulation seals in the 2019°F (1104°C) maximum temperature. Additional features include: long-life high-quality elements secured in deeply recessed grooves in the firing chamber walls, spring balanced lid for finger tip control, and a Select Fire™ Kiln Control. The Select Fire™ Kiln Control means more precise control and less time spent monitoring firings. Set the control to fire by temperature or by cone number at one of three preset firing programs - slow, medium or fast. Heat loss is minimized by the lid resting on ceramic fiber rope which encircles the firing chamber and forms a perfect seal, plus a spring-type latch which allows the lid to adjust to the expansion and contraction of the firing chamber refractory during firing. A special vent in the lid permits increased air circulation for brighter glaze colors. UL and CSA listed. 5-year warranty. Shipped truck directly from Indiana factory. Allow extra delivery time.
