Skutt kilns feature coated multi-sided lids to prevent dust from falling onto ware. Full trough grooves, with Kanthal elements pinned down, prevent sagging into the firing chamber. These fine kilns allow the user to automatically control the cooling rate of the kiln which is critical when working with sculpture, glass, or crystalline glazes. Uses 3" firebrick. Includes handsome, stainless steel encasements that are rust- and corrosion-resistant. Lightweight and portable… easy to assemble, reassemble, and repair. The EnviroVent Kiln Ventilation System (Z11261) is UL listed when it is used in conjunction with a UL-listed Skutt Kiln. Two-year limited warranty. Must be shipped truck. Shipped directly from Oregon factory.
