This 120V, revolutionary ceramic fiber kiln fires independently and needs no other heating source. Glass artists no longer have to fill a larger kiln to test-fire new techniques. No more waiting until morning to open the kiln. Glass compatibility testing takes just minutes. Kiln is rated at 2000° F. Great for ceramic testing. The QuikFire is a ceramic fiber shell that rests on top of a ceramic fiber base. The steel bottom completely covers the base and lifts it safely off of work surface. Includes on/off switch and pyrometer (temperature sensor). Has a 6" x 6" x 6" firing chamber. Takes only five minutes to reach 1000° F. Uses 1560 watts of power. Shipped directly from Texas factory.
