Essential for production hand building. Produces smooth, even slabs of clay. Constructed of steel pipe and plate and has a roller mechanism with cast-iron mounted ball bearings. Completely rigid and upright. Efficient circular handle moves the roller over the bed through a double cable system and is aligned with vee rollers running on angle tracks. The bed is made of masonite sheets which can be removed or added to vary the slab thickness from 1/4" to 1-1/4". The slab is rolled on the top canvas-covered sheet, which makes it easy to move the rolled slab to a worktable. Has a patented cable drive system with opposing rollers that can use a lighter frame without bed flex. Comes with five 1/4" masonite shims (one is canvas covered), and one 1/8" shim. Rolls slabs up to 21" W x 40" L and up to 1-1/4" thick. Has crank handle. Shipped directly from Indiana factory. Allow extra delivery time.
