A kiln designed for the Raku ceramic technique originating in 16th century Japan. For outdoor use only. Portable, weighs only 18 lbs. Easily lifted off wares. Top has port for exhaust and side port for viewing pots. Steel lined with vacuum formed insulation which is rigid and durable. Fast firing times: 0-1800° F in 15 to 45 minutes, 10 to 20 minutes for consecutive firings. Inside dimensions: 16" x 24". Operates on propane gas – 100-lb. bottle supplies approximately 50 loads of pots. (Propane tank, kiln shelf, and bricks not included.) Includes 10-ft. hose, venturi burner, valve, burner stand, automatic safety shutoff equipment, gauge, regulator, pol hookup, and safety instruction manual. Shipped UPS directly from Colorado factory.
