Designed to fit 3pt. tractors. Fast, straight fencing. Drives wood or steel posts under all conditions – wet or dry ground, rocky or sandy soil. Designed to fit two-way 3pt. tractors with two-way hydraulic systems, including those with hydraulic drawbars. Requires a two-way standard 8" stroke cylinder. Easy, one-person operation – driver is raised, lowered, and can be adjusted for operation at any angle. Tilting must be done from the ground. Special post saver principle eliminates post damage. Drives 8-ft. corner posts without sharpening or digging. No hydraulic back-pressure, driver is free falling. Control driver hammer for full or half tap. Special weight boxes are built in for use of sand ballast in hard ground. Simple lock for transporting or holding. Does not include cylinder. Use standard 8" stroke cylinder, 3" in diameter. Will work on T-posts. SPECIFICATIONS: Weight of empty hammer: 150 lbs.; weight of hammer loaded with sand: 450 lbs.; operating distance from ground: 45" to 11 ft.; 15 to 45 strokes per minute; post capacity: 8 ft. long, up to 8" in diameter.
