By automatically adding a date and time stamp to each recorded entry, the recorder electronically verifies the identity of the caregiver and ensures through voice recognition that only the student assigned is providing care. Ask students to record the key they used and how they felt when providing this care. You’ll be able to recognize the student’s own voice, hear their frustration, and know that no one else is providing care for that 2:00 a.m. feeding.
