This two-part video exposes students to the legal and social realities of teen parenting. The first part consists of two judicial hearings: the first is a nonsupport hearing against the father (should he be forced to give up his dream of playing baseball to get a job?); the second is a child-dependency action brought against the mother (should she lose custody of her baby because she left her child alone one night to go to a party?). In the second part of the video, a small group of actual teen parents discuss how their babies have changed their lives.
