Sewing geometric patterns is a great way to teach or reinforce a variety of math lessons including pattern and sequence recognition, geometric vocabulary, and constructions. Uses coordinates from all four quadrants to create designs. Supplemental worksheets provide exercises on solving linear slope/intercept equations. All materials are teacher created. This kit comes with detailed instructions for sewing 15 different designs, 15 pre-printed 8" x 8" pattern cards, and one 45-yd. spool each of fluorescent pink, yellow, green, orange, red, and tangerine thread to sew all 15 cards. Grade 5 and up.
