Geometry MIRA Activities for the Senior Grades
PRODUCT DETAILS
Every time a student uses a MIRA, the concept of bilateral symmetry is invoked. This allows the student to progress from bisecting angles, drawing perpendiculars and parallel lines in the middle grades, to drawing the conic sections and even to inscribing ellipses in a given triangle in the senior grades. This type of experimental geometry provides an opportunity for the student to draw and become familiar with the properties of the figures that will be studied analytically later on. 124 pages. Grade 9 and up.
