The exercises in this book will provide students with a foothold on informal geometry. In each exercise, the student is asked to construct a simple geometric figure, to guess (or conjecture) its properties, and then test the guesses. Once students can recognize simple geometric figures and their properties, they will be ready to make the transition to formal, Euclidean geometry. 95 pages. Grades 6-8.
