This program is being used by educators, families, pediatricians, speech therapists, schools, day cares, and libraries in all 50 states and over 20 different countries to teach American Sign Language (ASL) vocabulary to children of all ages. The multisensory approach engages learners of all abilities. Each volume uses original music, delightful animation, and a multicultural cast of children who sign to make sign language easy and fun for everyone. The DVDs feature Rachel Coleman and cousins Alex Brown (who can hear) and Leah Coleman (who is deaf). Join Alex, Leah, their frog, (Hopkins), and Signing Time’s Rachel Coleman in Volume 4 to learn signs for family members, feelings, and things outside. In Volume 5, viewers enjoy learning the letters A through Z in American Sign Language, plus more than 50 signs for words that correspond to different letters are demonstrated (such as A for alligator, B for baseball bat, and C for caterpillar). In Volume 6, you’ll join Alex, Leah, Hopkins the frog, and Rachel as they teach signs for fruits, vegetables, colors of the rainbow, and activities.
