The Grocery Store Game

This game teaches real-life shopping skills using a game board designed to resemble actual store aisles. Each player is given a shopping list with eight food items. Shoppers then have the opportunity to gather and “buy” food items in all the various food departments. Lists have illustrations of the foods for those with limited or no reading skills. Contents: game board with 36 full-color food illustrations, six playing pieces, game die (with only the numbers 1, 2, and 3), six game pencils, a price stand, and a teacher’s guide that has 16 different shopping list blackline masters and a personal check blackline master.
