Every day, kids face tough situations that impact their physical, social, and emotional health. Each card presents a real-life scenario from one of eight themes that address students’ overall health. Themes include nutrition; physical activity; food safety; bullying and violence; alcohol, drugs, and tobacco; Internet and computer safety; injury prevention; and basic first aid and emergencies. Students discuss or act out the scenario with their partners and then decide on the best course of action to take. A possible student response is given on the back of each card.
