Light: The Visible Spectrum Lab

This lab explores the spectrum of colors that makes up white light. Students use diffraction gratings, then build a spectroscope to investigate the spectra of different light sources. They gather evidence showing that different light sources have different spectra and that colored filters absorb some of the colors in the spectrum.
