Show the secret behind how airplanes work. This model is an easy way to demonstrate Bernoulli’s principle and the concept of lift. Consists of an acrylic tube with an airfoil (wing) suspended inside. This airfoil is attached to a pole that extends downward through the tube. When this pole is placed on the plate of a sensitive scale and the fan engaged, the airfoil will generate some lift, causing the apparent weight of the wing to decrease! Measures: 10-1/4" L x 8" H x 5" W. Grades 8-12.
