Small respirometers are used and O2 consumption is determined by measuring changes in H2O levels in the respirometer using germinating or non-germinating seeds. Kit includes 1 ml pipets, glass beads and peas, potassium hydroxide solution, cork stoppers, absorbent and non-absorbent cotton, vials, parafilm, and instructions. Lab completed in approximately 120 minutes.
