This pack can be used as a starting point to teach about mechanisms and structure, but can also be used in conjunction with existing resources. Aspects of the video could be used with pupils but is ideally suited for INSET, as it covers a wide range of information, including materials, history of tools, use of tools and safety. Materials include gears, brackets, pulleys, screws, tubes, and much more. Grades 2-12.
