Need a way to show students an overview of your biology course? Want them to consider the scale of biological levels? This kit includes 14 levels from subatomic particles to the biosphere, with pictures to match for a mix and match activity. The largest pieces are 12" x 4".
What are Speak Easies? Speak Easies, invented by teachers for teachers, are designed to facilitate lecture and review on a variety of science-related topics. Speak Easies’ “Stick-ups” are colorful magnetic visual aids designed for use on magnetic white boards. “Stick-ups” show structures, processes and relationships in different biological systems and subject areas. They can be easily constructed by the teacher step-by-step during presentation of a concept. They can also be used by students as a method of practice and review, and provide a handy tool for quizzes and tests. Because these aids are highly adaptable, the “Stick-ups” range from use in intermediate grades through high school level classrooms. They are effective with challenged learners. English language learners find them particularly useful. These sets could also be used in higher-level AP, IB, or junior college classes. All sets are California standards-based and include background information and suggestions for use.
