Catalysis is a basic principle of chemistry and biochemistry. Some reactions are autocatylic; the product of the reaction actually catalyzes further reactions. The reaction proceeds only in an acidic environment. Contains 5 ml bromophenol blue, 0.10% solution; 30 ml sulfuric acid, 3.0M solution UN2796; and 250 ml potassium chlorate/sodium sulfite solution. Grade 6-12.
