This rugged, compact unit heats and stirs up to 1,000 ml of liquid and is ideal for classroom laboratories. The 4-1/2" diameter top plate provides an even heating surface and is made from durable cast aluminum. The thermostat offers reliable temperature control and a powerful heater reaches a maximum temperature of 752° F (400° C) in only minutes. Powerful motor and magnet deliver reliable and consistent stirring from 100 to 1,200 RPM. Built-in support rod holder with locking knob accepts an 18" support rod and thermometer extension clamp and three-prong medium swivel clamp (not included).
